Frances (Gann) Portwood

Frances Isabel Portwood passed away January 13, 2022. She was born on January 24, 1926 to the late Thomas and Lottie Gann. She married the love of her life, Leonard Portwood and together shared 76 years. Frances was an amazing cook and enjoyed crosswords. She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist and she loved reading her Bible. Frances was very loved and will be missed.

In addition to her parents, Frances is preceded in death by her loving husband; Leonard Portwood, her sons; Thomas Portwood, Tony Portwood, her siblings; Thomas Ray Gann, Mary Lousie Gilbert and her granddaughter; Rebecca Lynn Munter. She is survived by her daughter in law, Louann Portwood,  grandchildren; Nicky Portwood, Donny Portwood, great grandchildren; Andrew Portwood, Matt Portwood, Caleb Portwood, Kirsten Munter, Connor Munter, Brandon Portwood, Brianna Portwood, Bryce Portwood, Brynn Portwood, Brantley Portwood, and one great-great grandchild; Oaklynn Portwood.

A graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 3:30pm at Temperance Cemetery with Reverend Richard Rollins officiating.
