Frank T. Mauldin Jr.

Frank Terrell Mauldin Jr., a cherished father, grandfather, and veteran, passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on December 19, 1950, in Atlanta, Georgia, Frank, affectionately known as "Pops," lived a life characterized by kindness, humor, and unwavering love for his family.

Frank honorably served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Intrepid during the Vietnam War, an experience he carried with pride throughout his life. He was a devoted father to his children and a doting grandfather whose affection for his family was evident in all that he did. Frank possessed a light-hearted spirit and an infectious sense of humor, often reminding those around him not to take life too seriously. His generous heart led him to extend a helping hand to anyone in need, embodying the true essence of compassion and generosity.

Frank Terrell Mauldin Jr. will be profoundly missed but will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and those who had the privilege to know him.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Frank Terrell Mauldin Sr. and Effie Mae Burk Mauldin and seven siblings, Addie Pearl Vaughn, Sara Sue Morris, Evelyn Cox, Juanita Ledbetter, Marie Cleapor, Doris Perry, and Charlene Humphries.

He is survived by his two children, Bryan (Shawn) Mauldin and Wendy (Tim) Hornbuckle; five grandchildren, Cory (Stephanie) Mauldin, Ashley (Scotty Odom) Mauldin, Addie Mauldin, Taylor (Bree) Hornbuckle, Emma Hornbuckle; three great grandchildren, Brayden Odom, Rylee Odom, Maddox Mauldin; his sister, Libby (Butch) Curtis; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Mauldin's family would like to thank the exceptional staff at Kimberly's Assisted Living for their compassion, love, and care shown to their father, Mr. Frank Mauldin.

The family will receive friends and loved ones at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, February 3, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

A Graveside Service for Mr. Mauldin will begin at 1:00 PM at Paulding Memorial Gardens.
