Fulton Cooper

Fulton Cooper, age 76, of Powder Springs, GA (formally of Hiram, GA.) passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2019 at Wellstar Paulding Hospital. Mr. Cooper was born on April 8, 1943 in Opelika, AL, to the late Carson and Ona Cooper. Fulton worked as a Facilities Superintendent for Mead Packaging for 25 years and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Sandy Dew.

Survivors include his beloved wife of over 30 years, Lynn Cooper of Powder Springs, GA, sons; Kerry and Tracie Cooper of Temple, GA, Jason and Laura Leopard of Monroe, GA, daughters; Kellie and Tony Mitchell of Acworth, GA, Kerrie and Jimmy Polick of Hiram, sisters; Betty Dumas of Mableton, GA, Daryl Rigell of Dadeville, AL, grandchildren; Larissa Townsend, Brooklyn Mitchell, James Cooper, Jacob Cooper, Joel Cooper, Ryleigh Polick, Logan Polick, great- grandchildren; Cameron Townsend, Liam Townsend, Emmalyn Townsend, Carson Cooper, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Cooper will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 3:00 PM from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ian Bowers and Rev. Don Rackley officiating. Interment will follow the service at Melrose Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers in attendance: Jimmy Lemmings, James Cooper, Joel Cooper, Logan Polick, Scott Rigell, and Jason Leopard.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, July 8, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
