Gary (Bill) Leroy Rowell

Gary (Bill) Leroy Rowell, age 74, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021. He was born on January 12, 1947 in Buchanan, GA. Mr. Rowell worked for Ford Motor Company on the assembly line for more than 33 years. He loved cars and racing at the dragstrip, mud bogging, and was a huge Georgia Bulldog fan. Bill is preceded in death by his late parents, William and Lillian Rowell; and son, Jason Rowell.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Martha Rowell; daughters, Lisa (Allen) Voyles, Jennifer (Nathan) Roberts, and Susan (David) Binion; sons, Joey (Tina) Rowell, Billy Joe (Melissa) Rowell, and P.L. (Arlene) Miller; sisters, Shelby Hardin and Elizabeth Mason; brothers, Donald Earlis Rowell, Charles Williams, and Johnny Williams; along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Rowell will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 3:00 PM with interment to follow at Buchanan City Cemetery in Buchanan, Ga. The family will receive friends at the funeral home at 1:00 PM prior to the service.
