Gerald Blount

Gerald Winston Blount, age 86, of Dallas, GA, passed away Monday, February 18, 2013. He was born, October 26, 1926, in Larned, Kansas and was preceded in death by his father, Everette Blount; mother, Bertha Vesta Gilbert Blount; and wife, Joann Crowe Carnes Blount. Mr. Blount was a Veteran of World War II, serving in the U. S. Navy. He was a member of the West Metro Church of Christ in Hiram.
Survivors include his brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Loran & Marilyn Crowe of Dallas, GA; sister-in-law, Dorothy Crowe Wingate of Dallas, GA; and sisters & brothers-in-law, Lois & George Conklin of Washington, OK and Dorothy & Donald Fields of Claremore, OK.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 24, 2013, at 3:00 PM, from the West Metro Church of Christ, with Minister Loran Crowe and
Assistant Minister Kevin Billips officiating.
Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
