Gerald Cochran, 77, of Aragon, GA passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at his home with his daughter by his side. He was born on February 12, 1944, in Dallas, GA to the late Talmadge Ira Cochran and Sara Louise Monk Cochran. Known affectionately as "Buzzard" to his friends, he was a logger, commercial pipeline foreman, and truck driver for many years. He enjoyed collecting various things, hunting, playing golf and poker/Texas Holdem; he was a NASCAR fan.
He is survived by his sons Cliff (Polly) Cochran of Dallas and Chad Cochran of Powder Springs; his daughter Angel Cochran (Jamie Hall) of Aragon; grandchildren: Heather Turner, Madison Cochran, Christopher Cochran, Mia Akins, Peyton Akins, and Hunter Akins; great-grandchildren: Riley Cochran, Georgia Cochran, and Willow Cochran.
Memorial services will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 3:00 PM with visitation prior starting at 2:00 PM.
