Gerald Trampass Gilbert

Gerald Trampass Gilbert, age 28, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021. He was born on October 8, 1992 to his parents; Trampass (Bridget) Gilbert and Jeri (Steve) Murdock. Gerald enjoyed hunting, fishing, and just being outdoors. He loved spending time with his family and friends and was a Christian by faith. Gerald worked for Carlton Rakestraw and Associates working side by side with Allen Crim for more than 5 years. He is preceded in death by uncles; Keith Harris and Robin Gilbert.

Gerald is survived by his sister; DeAnne (Brad) Turner of Dallas, GA., brother; Cole (Avery) Murdock, grandparents; Betty Barrett, Gerald and Beverly Wallace, niece; Bristol Phelps, nephew; Brody Phelps, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral Services for Gerald will be on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Clark Funeral Home at 11:00 AM with Pastor Alan Davis officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Dallas, GA. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Clark Funeral Home from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.

If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn, and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mr. Gilbert safe.  The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time).
