Gilbert Gabriel Rusterucci

Gilbert Rusterucci, age 73, of Dallas, GA., passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017. Gilbert was preceded in death by his parents; Jean Rusterucci and Simone Praticci. He was born on July 19, 1943 in Marsellie, France. Gilbert served in the United States Army and was retired from the New York State police department. He was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church in Acworth, GA.
Survivors include his wife, Vonda C. Rusterucci of Dallas, GA., his three sons; Robert and Diane Rusterucci of Macon, GA., Anthony and Leanne Rusterucci of New Jersey, Marc and Ashley Rusterucci of Acworth, GA., his two daughters, Lisa Hickman of Norfolk, VA., Lori Rusterucci of Fairfax County, VA., his sister, Lydia and Jack Jarvis of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., his aunt, Paulette McCary of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., his fourteen grandchildren and his two great- grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Acworth, GA at 11:00 AM with Chaplain Scotty Davis officiating. Interment will follow at The Georgia National Cemetery on June 8, 2017 at 2:30 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Piney Grove building fund located at 1605 Mars Hill Road, NW, Acworth, GA., 30101.
