Gloria "GG" Bearden

Gloria “GG” Bearden, age 79, of Dallas, GA, passed away on September 9, 2019. She was born on April 22, 1940 in Atlanta, GA, to the late Milton and Eleanor Hutcheson. Ms. Bearden worked as a preschool teacher for Kindercare for 10 years. She was a faithful member of Lake City Baptist Tabernacle. Ms. Bearden was an avid Braves fan, loved flowers and had a special place in her heart for her grand-dog, Tuxie. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Betty Scott, JoAnn Strickland, and brother, Buddy Hutcheson.

Survivors include her daughters; Terry and Donnie Newman of Dallas, GA, Tammy Bearden and her partner, Pam Alford of Eatonton, GA, Tonya and Michael Strickland of Bremen, GA, sister in law, Frances Hutcheson, four grandchildren; Kayla Anderson, Chase Newman, Brody Strickland, Carson Strickland, two great grandchildren; Colton Anderson, Kimber Anderson, and many nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service for Ms. Bearden will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM with Pam Alford officiating at Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made to The American Cancer Society in memory of Ms. Bearden.
