Mr. Grady Edward Clark, age 63, of Hiram, GA, went to his real home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, March 7, 2007. He was born on June 21, 1943 in Walterboro, S.C. to the late Jess and Mildred Clark. He was raised in Kingsland, GA. Mr. Clark was a crane operator with Phoenix Crane for 6 years and a member of Operator Engineers Local 673 in Jacksonville, FL. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and was a Navy veteran.
The essence of Grady Clark was expressed by his complete love and devotion to his family, church and friends. He was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Jessie V. Clark; daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Howard Shannon of Lagrange, GA and Michelle and Chris Crawley of Warner Robins, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, Billy and Mary Clark of Hawkinsville, GA and Bobby Clark of St. Mary's, GA; grandchildren, Lauren McVay, Mark and Brooke Shannon and Caroline Crawley; 16 nephews and 11 nieces of whom he dearly loved. The family wishes to show special recognition to a devoted "son", Patrick Miller from Auburn, California and grandchildren Kerry Miller of College Station, Texas and Taylor Miller of Loganville Georgia.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from Grace Baptist Church with Dr. Ken Martin and Rev. Sam Clark officiating. The interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
