Grady Conn, Sr

Grady Jack Conn, Sr., age 82, of Douglasville, GA (Paulding County), passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010. The son of the late, Homer Clarence Conn & the late, Lizzie Beth Conn, he was born September 19, 1928, in Atlanta, GA.
Mr. Conn worked for 60 years in the steel industry.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Emma Catherine Conn; son & daughter-in-law, Mike & Melissa Conn of Douglasville, GA; daughters & sons-in-law, Louann & Tony Portwood of Powder Springs, GA and Linda & Tony Black of Hiram, GA; sister, Emmer Jean Robinson of Dallas, GA; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Sunday, January 2, 2011, at 5:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Dr. James Powell officiating. In honoring the family wishes, Mr. Conn will be cremated after the service. The family will receive at the funeral home on Saturday, January 1, 2011, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
