Grady Leon McLendon

Grady Leon McLendon passed away on May 11, 2022. He was born on April 23, 1945 to the late Marvin and Doris McLendon. He was a huge Braves, Falcons, and Bulldog fan. He loved to fish, work in his yard, and spending time with his family. Grady adored his family, he loved his sweet grandchildren, and he was the best husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Grady was and will continue to be very loved and deeply missed.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by all his siblings, Johnny McLendon, Robert McLendon, Tommy McLendon, Harry McLendon, Jean Wilder, Jackie Griswell, Christine Benedict, and baby sister, Betty McLendon. Grady is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Betty Atkins McLendon; his children, Dena Huber, Ginger (Kevin) Folds, Suzanne (Sean) Simmons, and Daniel McLendon; nine grandchildren, Bobby Huber, Lacey Huber, Melissa (Cindy Rojas) Burdge, Amber (Jasmine) Cosby, Tanner Folds, Lily Simmons, Sean Xander Simmons, Kaylee McLendon, Austin McLendon; and one great-grandchild, Maxwell Huber.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Friday, May 13, 2022 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm. Funeral Services for Mr. Grady will be held at Clark Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 3:00pm with Reverend Thomas Blagg officiating.
