Harvey C Ritch

Harvey C Ritch passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023. He was born on October 10, 1937, to the late Hugh and Louise Wilson Ritch in Villa Rica, GA. He worked as an Electrical Engineer for 25 years with Greystone Power and was well respected throughout the Co-Op community for his experience and knowledge. Harvey enjoyed gardening and plants, so much so that he started a wholesale greenhouse with Jimmie Lou named J & H Green House after he retired. He was a long-standing Bethel United Methodist Church member in Hiram, GA. He loved his family and will be missed by many.

In addition to his parents, Harvey is preceded in death by his son Jeffery Carlton Ritch; his brother, Robert Ritch; and two grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Jimmie Lou Ritch; children, Delores (Frank) Sidwell, Rhonda (Jeff) Bowman, Karen (Pete) Ewing, Tracy (Denise) Palmer, Troy (Mandy) Palmer; brother, Marvin (Lorraine) Ritch, sister-in-law, Phyllis Ritch, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held for Harvey at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 3:00 PM, with Dr. Gil Watson officiating. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 1:00 PM until the service starts.
