Harvey Smith

Harvey Smith, age 85, of Smyrna, GA passed away on Monday, May 20, 2013. He was born on September 5, 1927, in Hazlehurst, Mississippi to the late Davy & Cora Smith. Mr. Smith was a United States Air Force Veteran and retired as a teacher from the City of Chicago School System.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia Stewart of Dallas, Alfreda & Jimmie Williams of Acworth, and Subrina & Edgar Taylor of Harrisburg, PA; brother, Saul Smith of Jackson, MS; a sister, Ruth Smith of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. from Georgia National Cemetery in Canton with Reverend Don Rackley officiating. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
