Helen Tinsley

Helen Tinsley, age 91, of Hiram, GA, passed away Monday, January 7, 2013. She was born October 14, 1921 in Chamblee, GA and was preceded in death by her parents, Harrison & Maude Tollison and her husband, Loy Albert Tinsley. Mrs. Tinsley was retired from the State of Georgia Department of Education, after 28 years of service. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lithia Springs.
Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Philip Loy Tinsley & wife, Anita Middlebrook Tinsley of Jonesboro, GA; daughter & son-in-law, Phylis Tinsley Toole & husband, Joseph Lee Toole of Hiram, GA; grandchildren, Keith Philip Tinsley, Brian Philip Tinsley, Benjamin Joseph Toole and Jessica Tinsley Holder; and great-grandchildren, Taylor Nicole Tinsley, Harper Finley Toole and Tinsley Elizabeth Holder.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA is in charge of arrangements.
