Howard Guess

Howard B. Guess, age 77, of Powder Springs, GA passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2009. He was born on May 29, 1931 in Marietta to the late Holmes & Nannie Lou Guess. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and was retired from Lockheed where he was a guard. He was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church. Mr. Guess was preceded in death by his wife, Tommie L. Guess.
Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Joey & Vicki Guess of Acworth, GA; his daughter and son-in-law, Jenny & Jim Sladek of Dallas, GA; sisters, Karlene Baldwin of Tucker, GA, Mary Waits of Acworth, GA and Ellen Hood of Kennesaw, GA; a grandchild, Jessica Delk.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA with Rev. J. T. Hollingshed officiating. The interment will follow in Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Acworth, GA. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the service time.
