Inez Rakestraw

Inez Rakestraw, age 86, of Dallas, GA, passed away Monday, April 30, 2012. Born in Dallas, GA, December 1, 1925, she was preceded in death by her parents, William Arthur Head & Lena Phillips Head; husband, Noel Hubert Rakestraw; and son, Larry Stephen Rakestraw. Mrs. Rakestraw was a member of New Hope First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Eric & Debra Rakestraw of Dallas, GA; daughter, Pat Ragsdale of Dallas, GA; and grandchildren, Bryan Ragsdale (Kristie), Brie Butler (Patrick), Brandon Rakestraw and Erica Rakestraw.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 3, 2012, at 3:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Frank Crowe and Debbie Sexton officiating.
Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery, with Calvin Thompson, Rene Butler, Patrick Butler, Jerry Ragsdale, Raymond Rainey and Jarrett Turner serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home, Wednesday, May 2, 2012, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
