Isaiah "Zeya" Hananiah Joseph

Isaiah “Zeya” Hananiah Joseph, age 25 of Douglasville, GA passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2021. Zeya was born on November 10, 1995, in Daytona Beach, FL to his parents, Gerni and Myrlande Joseph.

Zeya’s smile and laughter was one of his gifts to us.  He was the oldest of his siblings and was known to keep them in line. Although cerebral palsy inhibits many things and he was verbal-limited, but was able to communicate to his family that he wanted to be baptized in Yeshua’s name about five years ago.

Zeya was blessed with an amazing family and was continuously surrounded by love.  Togetherness with him included watching educational programming, a comedy or sports on tv.

He was known to always ask for a “cookie” after dinner. Zeya is preceded in death by his sister, Issabella Joseph and grandfather, Magis Joseph.

He is survived by his brothers, Isaac, Israel, Ismaiah, Issachar, and Ismachiah, sisters, Issabelle, Issabeth, and Issbrielle; grandmother, Marie Claude St. Vil-Joseph; and grandparents, Odilon and Violette Bienaime; in addition, there many uncles, aunts, cousins, great uncles and great aunts. We cannot forget the countless number of family and friends in the body of Christ.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, June 17, 2021, from 5:00-8:00 PM.

Funeral services for Mr. Joseph will be held graveside at Peaceful Meadows Cemetery in Dallas, GA on Friday, June 18 at 2:30 PM.

The Repast will be held on Friday, June 18 after the funeral service at Hunter Park in Douglasville, GA.

The family would like to extend their love, gratitude, and appreciation to everyone who cleared their schedule so quickly to reach out in so many wonderful ways.
