Ivelyn Meek Hutcheson, age 90, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2016. She was born on November 24, 1925, in Dallas, GA, to the late Guy Anderson Meek & Willie Mae Mitchell Meek. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Felix Harold Hutcheson; brother, Dorsey Anderson Meek; and sister-in-law, Rosa Meek. Mrs. Hutcheson worked as a clerk at Norfolk Southern Railway for over forty three years & was a member of First Baptist Church of Dallas.
Survivors include nephews, Kenneth Meek & wife, Pam of Dallas, GA, Mike Hutcheson of Temple, GA; sister-in-law, Ethlean Hutcheson Harding of Austell, GA; great-nieces, Jessica Lee & husband, John of Dallas, GA, Erica Deavers & husband, Josh of Powder Springs, GA; many nieces & nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hutcheson will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2016, at 2:00 PM, from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Alton Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, August 13, 2016, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
