Jack Morehouse, Sr

Jack F. Morehouse, Sr., age 80, of Dallas, GA, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012. The son of the late, Hubert Bright Morehouse and the late, Ellen Winifred Bridges Morehouse, he was born August 1, 1931, in Jackson, Michigan and was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Morehouse, Paul Hubert Morehouse and Frank Hubert Morehouse; and a sister, Prudence Ann Whittacker. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U. S. Army and worked in commercial construction for 60 years. Mr. Morehouse was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Judy Rose Morehouse; sons & daughters-in-law, Bill & Karen Morehouse of Texas, Tim & Cindy Bulther of Dallas, GA, Jack (Jay) & Christy Morehouse of Dallas, GA and Skip Morehouse of Alpharetta, GA; daughters & son-in-law, Suzanna & Steve Hanselmen of Michigan and Michelle Morehouse of Dallas, GA; sisters, Virginia Morehouse Engel of Washington, Patricia Morehouse Rude of New Hampshire and Helen Martha Bright of Michigan; grandchildren, Tabitha Taylor, Jessica Morehouse, Lindsay Bulther, Ann Marie Morehouse, Emily Bulther and Ryan Weaver; great-grandchildren, Bethany Morehouse, Jackson Morehouse, Ashton Bulther and Andrew Bulther; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, July 23, 2012, at 11:00 AM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor Tim Poston officiating. Interment will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery at 1:30 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, July 22, 2012, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
