Jacqueline Elaine Reese Howard, age 74, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2024. Born on July 26, 1949, in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of the late Walter and Myrtle Tumlin Reese. She held various jobs throughout her life and was most remembered for her administrative assistant work. Elaine touched the lives of many through her kind heart and joyful spirit.
Though her life was not without its share of challenges, Elaine found solace and joy in the simple pleasures that brought her happiness. She had an undeniable green thumb and dedicated countless hours to tending her cherished garden. Elaine loved the thrill of a good game and often enjoyed trying her luck at the casino. Her adventurous spirit led her to explore different corners of the world, creating cherished memories through her travels.
As a devout sports fan, Elaine cheered enthusiastically for the Atlanta Braves baseball team, reveling in their victories and sharing in their defeats. She had a need for speed and could often be found glued to the television, captivated by the thrilling races of NASCAR. Elaine's beloved cats held a special place in her heart, providing her with companionship and unconditional love.
Throughout her life, Elaine's creative touch shone through her impeccable decorating skills, transforming any space into a warm and inviting environment. Her keen eye for detail and her passion for elegant design were admired by all who entered her home.
In addition to her parents, Elaine was also preceded in death by her loving siblings: Charlotte (Johnny) Shepherd, Becky Reese and Clayton Reese.
Elaine will be deeply missed by her loving children, Ken Howell and Tina Wilber, as well as her brother, Leon Reese, and sister, Peggy Jean Webb. Her memory will forever remain in their hearts and the hearts of her sister-in-law, Pat Reese, and her beloved nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm. The funeral service will begin at 4:00 pm in Clark Funeral Home Chapel.
In accordance with her wishes, Elaine will be cremated following the service.
