Jacqueline H. Swena, age 70, of Marietta, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2008. She was born October 5, 1938, in Kearney, NE,
and was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Ledford Hayes & Dories Atkinson Hayes, and a sister, Carol Worfel. She graduated from Henry’s School of Cosmetology in Kansas and was a hairdresser for 20 years, then worked at Michael’s for 6 years as a floral designer.
Survivors include daughters & sons-in-law, Jo Leslie Swena-Mason & husband, Ken of Dallas, and Rhonda Kae Abbott & husband, Richard of Kennesaw; sister, Linda Knight of Colorado; grandchildren, Kylie Mason, Kasey Mason, Cole Mason, Ainsley Mason, Olin Mason and Macon Mason; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 13, 2008, at 11:00am, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Mike Faulkner officiating. Interment will follow in Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta. Donald Kenneth Mason, Richard James Abbott, Mark Stewart, Timothy Dohany, Ronald Wayne Divin, and Cody Wayne Divin will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
