Hayden Cantrell

Hayden embarked on a successful career at Lockheed Martin, where he dedicated an impressive 35 years of service, before retiring. Hayden possessed an innate love for motorcycles, CB Radios, fast cars, and the thrill of NASCAR racing. His enthusiasm for these interests was contagious, drawing in friends from all walks of life. Whether exchanging stories or comparing the latest racing updates, Hayden was always the life of the party and took great joy in connecting with others. His warm and sociable nature made him a cherished friend, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Apart from his professional life, Hayden held a profound belief in the Methodist faith. His spirituality provided him with strength and guidance throughout his life's journey, bringing him a sense of peace and serenity.

In addition to his parents, Hayden is preceded in death by his wife Bonita Cantrell, and a twin brother, Doyle Cantrell.

He is survived by his loving nephew, Timothy Thompson, and his wife, Kathy Thompson, whose lives he touched deeply. Additionally, he is survived by his nephew, Randy Cantrell, and his wife, Martha Cantrell; his sister-in-law, Joyce Cantrell; special friends, Dean and Beverly Clackum; and many other extended family members and friends. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Tiger Lily assisted living and the staff of Trinity Hospice.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Friday, November 24, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Funeral Service for Hayden will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Friday, November 24, 2023, at 12:00 PM with Rev. Don Rackley officiating. Due to the holiday and scheduling concerns, a private burial will take place on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Pallbearers will be Randy Cantrell, Clint Foxworth, Grayson Foxworth, Ben Thompson, Tim Thompson, and Edwin Whitworth. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wes Thompson, Luke Thompson, Dean Clackum, Beverly Clackum, Kayley Foxworth, Ronnie Garman, Alicia Dickerson, Cheryl Farmer, and Kimberly Pickering.

We kindly invite those who knew and loved Hayden to join us in celebrating his life and sharing stories of laughter, warmth, and friendship. Although deeply missed, his spirit will continue to live on in our hearts.

The family will be accepting flowers, or donation in Hayden's honor can be made to a church of one's choice.
