James Michael "Mike" Millholland, 62, passed away unexpectedly on April 3, 2024. He was born on December 26, 1961, in Cummings, Georgia, to his loving parents James Carol Millholland and Martha Nelda Millholland-Merrit. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work and love for his family.
Mike began his career at 17 and excelled in his role as a truck driver, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to his profession. In his spare time, he liked to tinker with different things, and shoot guns, or watch wrestling on tv with his brother-in-law Danny. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of Pumpkinvine Baptist Church and was the prayer warrior for his family and children, always providing guidance and support with the utmost love and care.
Mike is preceded in death by his father, James Carol Millholland.
Mike is survived by his three sons, James Michael Willis Millholland of Bremen, Georgia, Steven David (Jessica) Millholland of Belton, South Carolina, Nathan (Jessica) Cornelius of Belton, South Carolina; daughters Deborah Linn Nicole Millholland of Temple, Georgia. Jennifer Rose (Jason) Thompson of Temple, Georgia; mother Martha Nelda (Daniel) Millholland-Merrit of Dallas, Georgia; sister, Deborah (Danny) Whitworth of Dallas, Georgia; nephew, Edwin (Megan) Whitworth of Dallas, Georgia; special brother, David Lee Boling of Kennesaw, Ga. step-sisters, Dianne (Rick) Hymer of Elmer, New Jersey, Daneen (Marlin) Hollingsworth of Waynesville, North Carolina; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and a host of other extended family and friends. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, April 8, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Funeral services for James Michael Millholland will be held at Clark Funeral Home on April 8, 2024, 2:00 pm With Missionary Chris Batchelor and Reverend Jason Morgan officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park with Camden, Steven, Nathan, Gavin, Edwin, Cole, Draisen and David serving as pallbearers.
James lived a life dedicated to hard work, family, and friendship; he will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a loving father, a loyal friend, and a man who touched the hearts of many. May he rest in peace.
