James A Pace

James Aubrey Pace, age 72, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018. He was born on January 2, 1946, to the late Aubrey “Buddy” & Virginia Pace, and was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Jerry “Beetle” Fields and father-in-law, Allen Wilson Mayfield. Mr. Pace worked as a realtor for Maximum One and a bookkeeper for VFP Contractors. He was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church. Mr. Pace was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Donna Mayfield Pace of Dallas, GA; sons, Jaime & Valerie Pace of Dallas, GA, and Donny & Jamie Pace of Dallas, GA; sister, Dale Dalton of Villa Rica, GA; sisters-in-law, Debbie Jo Fields of Dallas, GA, and Fonda Jo (Lewis) Beavers of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Elizabeth Anne Pace, Emily Rose Pace, Jonah Pace, Elyssa Kate Pace, and Malachi Pace; mother-in-law, Betty Jo Mayfield; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 3 PM, from Pine Ridge Baptist Church with Dr. Scott Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday, November 4, 2018, from 2 PM until 3 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pine Ridge Baptist Church at 125 Pine Ridge Church Road, Dallas, GA, 30157, in Mr. Pace’s memory.
