James Lawson "Jimmy" Palmer

James Lawson "Jimmy" Palmer, age 62, of Powder Springs, GA, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2008. Mr. Palmer was born on June 7, 1945, in Austell, GA. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawson R. Palmer, and a brother, Marvin Lamar Bone. Mr. Palmer worked as a painter.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Palmer of Powder Springs; mother, Sarah June Bone of Dallas; son, Ryan Lawson Palmer of Dallas; brother, Ottis Bone, Jr. of Dallas; grandchildren, Anslee Palmer of Dallas, and Tyler Lawson Palmer of Dallas; and several nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be Sunday, March 16, 2008, at 2:00pm, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Sam Shipp officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Nebo Methodist Church Cemetery. Rush Phillips, Daniel Phillips, Wayne Bailey, Ricky Austin, Ottis Bone, Jr., Charles Cooper, and Ryan Palmer will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.
