James Marvin Pruitt, age 66, of Douglasville (Paulding Co.), passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2009. He was born on May 24, 1943, in Valdosta, GA, to the late Charles and Norma Joyce Pruitt. Mr. Pruitt was a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include wife of 47 years, Faye Lewallen Pruitt of Douglasville; son and daughter-in-law, Steven James & Wendy Jean Pruitt of Douglasville; daughter, Shelley Pruitt of Douglasville; granddaughter, Hannah Elizabeth Smith of Douglasville; several brothers and sisters.
At Mr. Pruitt’s request the body will be cremated. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
