James Royal

James Alfred Royal, age 76, of Dallas, GA passed away on August 2, 2013. He was born October 13, 1936 in Atlanta, GA and was preceded in death by his parents Haskell H. and Lucille Royal; brothers, George and Haskell Royal and sister, Ruth Butler. Mr. Royal was retired after 23 years as an Administrative Tech with the United States Air Force. He also worked at the Western Space and Missile Center. Mr. Royal loved trains and camping and was a member of East Hiram Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Laurel Jean Royal of Dallas, GA; son, Keith and Vicki Royal of Las Vegas, NV; daughters, Kimberly and Charlie Jackson, of Riverdale, GA, Karen and Nathaniel Wright of Lompoc, CA, and Karla Peppers of Topeka, KS; brother, Thomas Royal of Atlanta, GA, and sister, Lucille Redd of Atlanta, GA. He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Ricky Bice officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
