Mr. James "Junior" Turner, age 82, of Hiram, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2007. He was born on October 29, 1924 in Draketown to the late James W. and Cora Wilson Turner. He was a member of Zion Baptist Church and was an electrician.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley Turner; a daughter, Melissa Cantrell of Hiram; a sister, Rose Turner Driskell of Austell; a grandson, Daniel Cantrell.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 15, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram with Elder Travis Warren and Elder Bob Butler officiating. The interment will follow in Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
