James Lewis VanderHoff, age 64, of Dallas, GA, passed away Monday, July 15, 2013. The son of the late, Robert William VanderHoff & the late, Ardis Evalina VanderHoff, he was born, March 16, 1949, in Arizona. SKC James L. VanderHoff was a 26 year U.S. Navy Vietnam Era Veteran serving from 1967 to 1993. He had worked for Kindercare as a Worldwide Warehouse Distribution Manager, was an Optician for Affordable Eyewear, a Logistics Engineer for Lucent Technologies, a substitute teacher for the Paulding County School System and worked for FEMA in the southern district. Mr. VanderHoff was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jacqulyn Ann VanderHoff; children, Marjorie VanderHoff of Los Angeles, CA, Laura Dozier of Port Hueneme, CA, Genevieve & Greg Ledbetter of Smyrna, GA, James Lewis VanderHoff, Jr. of Melbourne, Australia, Joseph Matthew VanderHoff of Dallas, GA and Donovan James VanderHoff of Dallas, GA; brother & sister-in-law, Terry & Sandra VanderHoff of Lafayette, IN; and grandchildren, Cody Mason Dozier, Ethan James VanderHoff, Sydney Claire Dozier and Marli Paige Floyd.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, July 22, 2013, at 12:00 PM, from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with Father Adrian Pleus officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 21, 2013, at Clark Funeral Home, from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted to Jackie VanderHoff or Clark Funeral Home to cover funeral expenses.
