James "Jim" Zunt

Mr. James Bryan "Jim" Zunt, passed away on September 20, 2024. He was born on June 24, 1963 to Eugene and Alice Zunt in St. Louis, Missouri. Jim was a devoted family man whose love for his wife and son knew no bounds. He was a faithful member to Cedercrest Church and his involvement was a testament to his faith and commitment to his community.

Jim found joy in attending sporting events to watch his son take pictures and he loved watching Georgia football. Jim could often be found working around his yard, volunteering at a local assisted living facility, and spending time with his family.

Jim was considered the cornerstone of his family, serving as the unifying force that bound them together through thick and thin. He devoted his time to nurturing his relationships with his loved ones and instilling values of unity and togetherness within his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and great uncle who was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Theodore Zunt and Alice May Zunt; and his brother, Bob Zunt.

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Sharon Zunt; their son, Zach Zunt; brother, Gene (Gail) Zunt; sisters, Kathy AuBuchon, Donna Zunt, Kim (Kenneth) Dudley; brother-in-law, Wade Norton; sister-in-law, Donna Jackson Zunt; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and loved ones at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

A Memorial Service to honor Jim will begin at 3:00 PM at Sam Clark Chapel with Pastor Derek Ray officiating.
