Jane Elizabeth Barklie, lovingly known as Dub, passed away on November 23, 2022. She was born on June 24, 1939, to the late John and Gertrude Gilleaudeau in Brooklyn, New York. She and Richard raised their five children in Staten Island and then Jane moved to Georgia after her husband's death. While in Georgia she served as a volunteer as a Girl Scout Leader and volunteered at Dugan Elementary School. Jane's family was very important to her. She had nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren whom she adored. Jane was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be very missed.
Jane is survived by her five daughters Jane Noblett, Susan Barklie, Maria (Pace Klein) Barklie, Diane (Kevin) Heerlein, Christine (Steven) Steinberger; her grandchildren Jacqueline, Nicholas, Marissa, Kaitlyn, Jeannie, Rebecca, Ashley, and Jamie; her great-grandchildren Carter, Ava, Erika, and Luciana; and her brother Gabriel Gilleaudeau and sister Irene Mason.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband Richard Barklie, her granddaughter Lisa Jane Noblett, her sister Diane Nutt, and her brother John Gilleaudeau.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
