Jane Paris Champion, age 79 of Cumming, GA, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021. She was born on March 16, 1942 to her late parents, Charles Joseph and Myrtle Lou Paris. Jane was known by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as Mimis and enjoyed being playful with them. She was the family’s number one cheerleader in their dirt bike racing adventures. Jane was an educator at Chattahoochee Tech for 18 years and later owned her own beauty school where she was a mentor to many students. Her family and friends that know her would describe her in one phrase as “always supportive in her children’s decisions.”
Mrs. Champion is survived by her daughters, Kim (Mark) Hampton and Crystal Champion; son, Brian (Stacy) Champion; grandchildren, CJ (Chris) Brown, Lexi (Tripp) Dewberry; great-grandchildren, Addi, Nora, Vera, Sincerely, and Shepard.
Memorial service for Mrs. Champion will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at 1:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, August 7, 2021 5:00 until 7:00 PM.
The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to Covid-19 concerns.
