Jason Edward Nunz

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jason Nunz, devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, who departed this world on March 20, 2025. Jason was born on February 8, 1973, and throughout his 52 years, Jason’s warmth, adventurous spirit, and genuine love for life left an enduring mark on all who knew him.

Jason was the devoted partner of Jenna Rush and the proud father of Blakely Rush, his greatest joy and the light of his life. Whether spending time with Blakely or planning their next big adventure, Jason was always present with love and unwavering support. Jason is survived by his brothers, Nathan and Matthew Nunz, whom he loved deeply.

Jason’s passion for travel led him to explore many corners of the world, but his happiest moments were spent with his family. His most cherished memory was their recent Disney Cruise to the Bahamas, where he soaked up every magical moment with the ones he loved most.

An avid runner, Jason’s love for track and field began in high school and stayed with him throughout his life. He was always up for an outdoor adventure, ready to explore new trails or discover hidden gems. When it came to music, Jason never missed a country concert, where he could often be found singing along to his favorite songs, surrounded by friends and family.

Jason had a diverse and successful career, most recently spending his recent years in Georgia working for Wellstar. Yet, the role he cherished above all was that of being a dad. His love, guidance, and constant support will be deeply missed by those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Jason is preceded in death by his parents, Angelina Frigillana, who no doubt welcomed him with open arms.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Dallas, GA. A Holy Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 1:00 PM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Dallas, Georgia with Reverend Father Adrian Pleus officiating. A reception in honor of Jason Nunz will follow the Holy Mass in the Simpson Hall, located in the back of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Dallas, GA.
