Jean Sexton Butler

Jean Sexton Butler, age 81, of Douglasville, GA, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018. She was born on April 20, 1937, in Atlanta, GA, to the late Clarence Eugene Sexton and Ruby Catherine Woodward, and was preceded in death by her brother, Nick Sexton. Mrs. Butler was a member of New Georgia Baptist Church.

Survivors include husband of 62 years, Bob Butler of Douglasville, GA; sons, Anthony & Crystal Butler of Douglasville, GA, Tim Butler of Atlanta, GA, and Todd & Tracy Butler of Douglasville, GA; brothers, Richard & Mary Sexton of Dallas, GA, Mike & Sherry Sexton of Dallas, GA, and Huston & Wendy Milner of Monroe, GA; sister, Merrie & Larry Lucas of Roswell, GA; grandchildren, Jamie & Truman Oetting, Heather & Micah Gravley of Douglasville, GA, Kristen & Travis Monroe of Hiram, GA and Kelci Butler; seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at 11 AM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Thomas Cole officiating. Interment will follow in Melrose Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 21, 2018, from 4 PM until 8 PM.
