Hazel Jeanette Brown passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023. She was born on September 8, 1929, a daughter of the late Ralph and Maude Raines in Cumming, GA.
Jeanette was employed with Southern Bell and then Lockheed for 21 years. After leaving Lockheed, she babysat children for around 22 years. She was a loving and devoted mother and wife. Jeanette loved her family Christmas Party. She loved to bowl, playing crocket and cards.
In addition to her parents, Jeanette is preceded in death by a son, James Hutchins Jr.; a sister, Imogene Marler; a brother Carroll Raines, a granddaughter, Rhonda Rose; a great-grandson, Ryder Jude Carter; and a son-in-law, Frank Perkins.
She is survived by her husband, Ezekiel Brown; a son, Dale Brown (Dawn); two daughters, Marie Perkins, Jenny McGuire (Jim); a brother, Rupert Raines; a sister, Sue Quarles; seven grandchildren, Tim Perkins, Bill Perkins, Jennifer Durden, Stephanie Deaton, Ashley Carter, Maranda Ray, Carissa Green; twenty great-grandchildren, Mary Perkins, Mia Britwistle, TJ Perkins, Amanda Davis, Dylan Byars, Chase Byars, Brooke Durden, Corey Deaton, Blake Deaton, Aaron Deaton, Jacob Deaton, Allie Carter, William Carter, Brady Carter, Kane Carter, Tyler Carter, Ciarra Durden, Hunter Durden, Kingston Green, Olivia Green; five great-great-grandchildren, Austin Davis, Chelsy Davis, Claire Davis, Ryann Medlock, Sharaine Hanning.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, August 03, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral Service for Jeanette will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM with Dr. Kevin Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park with Tim Perkins, Bill Perkins, TJ Perkins, Ashton Ray, Josh Green, Hunter Durden serving as pall bearers.
