Jennifer Bowers Federline Denton, age 45, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2015. She was born on November 25, 1969, in Great Lakes, Illinois. Mrs. Denton worked for many years at Nebo Elementary as a teacher and most recently at Panter Elementary School, and was a member of Gracepointe Church. Jennifer was well known for delicious cakes and owned and operated Sweet Life Bakery in Dallas. She graduated from Union High School in Tulsa, OK in 1988 and also from Oklahoma State University in 1992.
Survivors include her husband, Donnie Denton of Dallas, GA; daughter, Julia Federline of Dallas, GA; step-children, Courtney Denton of Dallas, GA, Lindsey & Jacob Downer of Kennesaw, GA, and Chase & Billiejean Davenport of Dallas, GA; parents, Steve & Marilyn Bowers of Tulsa, OK; siblings, Leah & Richard Smith of Broken Arrow, OK, and Mark & Keilani Bowers of Tulsa, OK; grandmother, Hazel Holeman of Chickasha, OK; nieces and nephews, Reid Smith, Gillian Smith, Sylvia Smith, and Brittany Comeaux.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at 11 AM, from West Ridge Church, with Dr. Lee Mabry officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, OK. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, from 5 PM until 8 PM.
