Jerald Edward Searles

Jerald Edward Searles, age 81, of St. Petersburg, FL. passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Tranquility of Kennesaw Mountain. He was born on May 30, 1939 to his late parents; Joseph and Marie Searles. Jerald worked for United Artist as an Electronic Technician for more than 30 years and was a Baptist by faith. Jerald was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend who will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Searles is survived by his loving wife Lilly Searles, son; George "Blake" Searles, sister; Sharon Basom, brother; Michael Searles, grandchildren; Chelsea, Cassandra, and Travis, great-grandchildren; Skylee, Adalyn and dear friend Julie Lewis.

A memorial service for Mr. Searles will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 11:00AM at Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Conrad officiating.

If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn, and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mr. Searles safe.  The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time).
