Jeremiah McCarthy Sullivan Jr., age 90, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain. He was born on April 29, 1930 in New Orleans, LA, to his late parents; Jeremiah Sullivan Sr. and Louise Sullivan. Jeremiah was a Master Sergeant for The National Guard Air Force and was a faithful member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church. Mr. Sullivan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend who will be missed by many.
Mr. Sullivan is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Hazel Boudoin Sullivan of Hiram, GA, children; Stanley Sullivan and his wife, Mitzi of Woodstock, GA, Timothy Sullivan and his wife, Mildred of Low Gap, N.C., Jeanne Duthu and her husband, Terry Sr. of Powder Springs, GA, grandchildren; Randi Warren and her husband, Joseph, Daina Sullivan, Ryan Sullivan, Brittany Clontz and her husband, Tyler, Terry Duthu Jr. and his wife, Jessica, Andrew Duthu and his wife, Paige and nine great grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass for Mr. Sullivan will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 12:00 PM at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church with Father Adrian Pleus officiating. In accordance to Mr. Sullivan’s wishes, his body will be cremated after the service. The family will receive friends for a visitation at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 from 10:30 AM until 11:45 AM.
The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who will not be able to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions. (No more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time) If attending the visitation or service, the staff of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church REQUIRE a face mask be worn and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mr. Sullivan safe.(**If a face mask is not worn, you may not enter the church**)
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made to St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in loving memory of Mr. Sullivan.
