Jerrold Lee Helton passed away on December 1, 2022. He was born on April 19, 1971 to the late James "Otis" and Mary Lou Helton in Mobile, Alabama. Jerrold was a devoted member of Hiram First United Methodist Church alongside his wife, Amy, where he faithfully served his Lord and Savior. He worked at Lockheed Martin for over 22 years as an electrical engineer and he absolutely loved his work and his family of engineers. Jerrold was also a Boy Scout leader with Pack 750 and Troop 7. He loved working with those kids. Jerrold was well known as a gentle giant. He had massive love for others and his faith was even bigger. He loved wholeheartedly and was a warrior. He went through so much but still, at the end of the day, his heart remained the same. Jerrold was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, husband, father, and friend who will be so deeply missed.
Jerrold is preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Mary Lou Helton. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Amy Helton; their sons, William "Will" James Helton and Adam Jerrold Helton; his siblings, Deborah Helton McAdams (Mike), Laura Helton Krause, Julie Helton True (Rick), Jim Helton (Teresa), Joe Helton; and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, and many, many friends who all loved him.
