Jimmy Hermon Frey, age 75, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, July 25, 2021. He was born on May 25, 1946 to his late parents, Thomas and Eunice Frey. Mr. Frey was known by his family as loyal and put everyone first, he was patriotic, a strong Christian, and a hard worker who loved golf. Above all he was protective of those he loved; he was a good man. Jimmy was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Dallas, GA. He worked for Bellsouth as an installer for more than 32 years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Frey is preceded in death by his sisters, Margaret Frey, Doris Collins, and Pearline Keown; brothers, Dewey Frey and Johnny Frey.
He is survived by his loving wife, Michele Frey; sister, Christine (Ed) Palmer; daughters, Kelly (Adam) Newson, Kelly (Nathan) Whitmire, and Kerri (Thomas) McDougal; sons, Jimmy Keith (Jean)Frey and Joseph Matthew (Amanda) Frey; grandchildren, Matthew, Brittany, Leah, Addy, Elizabeth, Ceara, Brittney, T.C., Steven, Alexis, Chase, Chelsea, Ethan, and Ella; great-grandchildren, Kinsley, Landon, Kameryn, Carson, Christian, Maggie, Jerriph; along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Frey will be held at Clark Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 11:00 with Father Carl Zdancewicz and Brother Durwood Perry officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery with the following as pallbearers: Bobby Maddox, Skip Palmer, Wayne Cole, Patrick Rauth, Mike Padgett, Adam Newson, Nathan Whitmire, and Thomas Moran. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Clark Funeral Home from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.
