Jimmy Wise

Mr. Jimmy Orville Wise, age 68, of Dallas, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2007. He was born on June 5, 1938 in Lake City, S.C. to the late Henry Lamar and Ethel Wise. He was an Air Force Veteran. Mr. Wise was a member of New Georgia Baptist Church and was a retired telephone technician with the Bell Companies. He was preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Lamar Wise.
Surviving are his wife, Pansy Wise; sons and daughters-in-law, Barney Wise of Toccoa, GA, David and Ina Wise of Gainesville, GA and Shawn and Lauri Wise of Douglasville, GA; a daughter, Lisa Wise of Winter Garden, FL; a sister, Olive Taylor of Vidor, TX; grandchildren, Ashley, Danielle and Zoe Grace Wise; nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 26, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. from New Georgia Baptist Church with Dr. James R. Burdette and Rev. Keith Stell officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 25, 2007 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Georgia Baptist Church Building Fund, 6092 Mulberry Rock Rd., Villa Rica, GA 30180.
