Joan Delores Payton, age 66 of Dallas, Ga., passed away on Saturday February 14, 2009. She was born January 11, 1943 in Atlanta, Ga., daughter of the late Harry Allen Thrash and Annie Myrtle Loveless Thrash, a homemaker and a member of Mabelton First Baptist Church.
Survived by her husband of 30 years, James L. Payton, Dallas, Ga.
Children - Pamela Leigh and Mark Wright, Ft. Myers, Fl.
Delores Allene Ward, Dallas, Ga. Donna Leigh Earwood, Hiram, Ga.
Grace Loraine and Jeff Bishop, Asheville, NC. James Payton, Jr., Adairsville, Ga. Sister Barbara Ann Porter, Electic, Al.
10 Grandchildren 7 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 16, 2009 at 3:00 pm from Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Vance officiating with Interment to follow in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery. Family visitation will be Sunday, February 15, 209 from4-8pm.
