Jody Maloy

Jody Maloy, age 61, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 2, 1958 in Baltimore, Maryland to her late parents; Leonard and Ruth Sawicki. Mrs. Maloy worked as a Clerical for Acosta Sales and was Catholic by faith. In her free time, Jody greatly enjoyed the beach, laying in the sun and spending days at the pool with her children. She also was a lover of animals, arts and crafts festivals and all things rock and roll. Above all Jody had a huge heart and loved her children fiercely. She was a loving mother, sister and granny who will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her loving children; James Maloy of Douglasville, GA, Jessica Orr and her husband, Preston of Hiram, GA, brother, Kenneth Sawicki, sister, Lisa Buck, grandchildren; Jimmy Maloy, Carter Grace Orr, Gia Maloy and Bailee Orr.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Jody Maloy will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 3:00 PM at The Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jimmy Kennedy officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 2:00 PM until the service begins at 3:00 PM.
