Joel H. Grantham, age 64, of Villa Rica (Paulding County), passed away on Monday, January 28, 2008. He was born June 5, 1943, in Hogansville, GA, to the late Thomas & Leah Grantham. Mr. Grantham was a truck driver for Gulf Oil. He was a member of Victory Road Baptist Church in Bowdon, GA.
Survivors include wife, Lynn Grantham of Villa Rica; sons & daughter-in-law, Scott Grantham & wife Tasha of Villa Rica, and Jason Grantham of Sandy Springs; daughter & son-in-law, Tammy Austin & husband Nick of Rockmart; step-son, Michael Reece & wife Michelle of Paris, TN; step-daughter, Erica Nelms & husband Stan of Paris, TN; brother, Richard Grantham of Newnan; sisters, Tommie Williams of Douglasville, and Ada Mae Harry of Spartanburg, SC; ten grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2008, at 2:00pm, from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Randy Clark and Brother Wayne Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Melrose Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
