John Brewer

John "Johnny" Micheal Brewer, age 75, of Hiram, Georgia, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2024. Johnny was born on May 12, 1949, in Dallas, Georgia, to the late James and Elsie Brewer.

Johnny made his career in managing grocery stores where he spent most of his time. He was able to retire from both A&P and Kroger. He was a man who cherished many things, including his family, especially his grandchildren, smoking his pipe and spending time with his dog, Izzy.

In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by his son, James Michael Brewer.

Johnny is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Deborah Brewer; sons Chad (Christina) Brewer and Chris (Deborea) Brewer; sisters, Linda (Mike) Tibbetts, Betty Jean (Dickie) Hobbs; grandchildren, Brianna Bernat, Georlind Brewer, Jonathan Brewer, Misty Davis, and Casey Shope; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 11:30 AM until service time. A funeral service for Johnny will be held from the Sam Clark Chapel on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 1:00 PM with Bishop Thomas Blagg officating.

Johnny will be laid to rest at New Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery in Dallas, Georgia with Adam Hobbs, Josh Stephenson, Matias Bernat, Trent Bruce, Robby Bruce and Casey Shope serving as pallbearers.
