John Hall

John L. Hall, age 79, of Temple, GA, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014. He was born March 3, 1935, in Etowah, TN and was preceded in death by his parents, James Charles Hall & Isobell Rogers Hall; brother, George Hall; sisters, Maggie Knox and Ellen Price; half-brothers, Cleon Simpson, Charles Hall and Hoyle Hall. Mr. Hall was retired from the U. S. Postal Service after 32 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and genealogy and was a member of Youth Baptist Church in Powder Springs, GA.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Hall; sons & daughters-in-law, John L. Hall, Jr. & wife, Terri of Temple, GA and James Lee Hall & wife, Elaine of Washington, DC; sister, Mary Evelyn Dalton of Easley, SC; grandchildren, Crystal Godwin (Bryan), Danya Lauren Hall, Courtney Elise Love (Weston), Katarina Bechley (Anthony) and Brendon James Hall; great-grandchildren, Isabella Love, Emma Love, Collin Hall, Anya Hall and Arianna Bechley; numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2014, at 1:00 PM, from Conasauga Cemetery in Etowah, TN, with Pastor Moses Florence officiating. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA, on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
