John Edward Perkerson, age 73, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017. He was born on February 28, 1944, in Dothan, AL, to the late John Edward & Vivian Perkerson, JR. Mr. Perkerson retired from The City of Atlanta where he worked as a mechanic.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Sandra Perkerson of Dallas, GA; sons, Jason & Griselda Perkerson of Dallas, GA, and Wesley & Hayley Perkerson of Dallas, GA; daughters, Wendy Perkerson & Bill Medlin of Acworth, GA, and Karen Bates of Dallas, GA; brother, Mike & Judy Perkerson of Stockbridge, GA; eight grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Kaylee, Benjamin, Daniel, Aaron, J.J, and Ethan; greatgrandchild, Presleigh Lynn Kirby.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017, at 3 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Brother Rickey Bice officiating. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 22, 2017, from 12 PM until 3 PM.
