John Warner Ragsdale, age 96, of Tuskegee, AL, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2014. He was born on October 27, 1917, in Dallas, GA to the late Carl & Bessie Ragsdale, and was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Ragsdale. Mr. Ragsdale was a United States Army Veteran, and retired from the Atlanta Post Office. He was Methodist by faith.
Survivors include his son, John Warner, of Rome, GA; daughters & sons-in-law; Patricia & James Causey II, of Marietta, GA, and Sandra R. & Lee A. Cook, of Tuskegee, AL.; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; many nieces & nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 2:00 PM, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, with Reverend Thomas Blagg officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, October 5, 2014, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM.
