John Joseph Wehrle, age 45, of Dallas, GA, passed away Monday, July 7, 2014, in Dallas, GA. The son of Rhoda Wehrle & the late, John Louis Wehrle, he was born March 4, 1969. John, who most of his life was known to his family and friends as Joe, was born in East Troy, Wisconsin and grew up in Carrollton, GA. He graduated from Carrollton High School and attended West Georgia Technical College. John’s passion was working as a mechanic on heavy equipment and diesel engines. He loved the outdoors, hiking and camping.
Survivors include his wife, Amy Dennis Wehrle; mother Rhoda Wehrle of Carrollton, GA; step-son, Michael Williams & wife, Michaela of Oceanside, CA; step-daughter, Elizabeth Williams of Dallas, GA; brothers & sisters-in-law, Chris Wehrle & wife, Dianne of Marietta, GA and Terry Wehrle & wife, Lindsey of Carrollton, GA; sisters & brothers-in-law, Kathy Fuller & husband, Walt of Texas, Gina Phillips &husband, Cramer of Alabama, Bonnie Jewell & husband, Mark of Maryland, Jeanette Teague & husband, Keith of Florida, and Anita Gay & husband, Spencer of Carrollton, GA; twenty-one nieces; eight great-nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2014, at 9:00 AM, from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Carrollton, GA, with Reverend Rafael Carballo officiating, with Rosary at 8:30 AM. A reception will follow the mass in the church hall. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 12, 2014, at the church, from 8:00 AM until the service time.
